Our Vision
Meet•Pray•Love. These three words challenge us to simplify our life as a community while at the same time recommit to a life of Christian discipleship.
Each Sunday members of the Bethel community gather for worship (Meet), and then spend time together emphasizing a commitment to growing their faith through various activities including Learning, Service, and Sharing (Pray). Along our faith journey together, we will find ways to put our faith into action and the final piece of the vision (Love) falls into place.
The church has always been a gathering of the disciples of Jesus, right from the beginning and then down the years to our own age. Being disciples of Jesus is who we are and making disciples of Jesus is what we do. At Bethel we express this in our vision statement: Meet•Pray•Love We come together as we MEET in worship to give thanks for our life as the people of God and to hear of God's love for us. Then, rooted in this love, we move more deeply into our walk with Jesus and grow spiritually as we PRAY and support one another along our faith journey together as disciples of Jesus. Emboldened by the security of God's love, we go out into our week ready to LOVE one another as Jesus loves us.
