Join us for worship this coming Sunday as we celebrate the "great cloud of witnesses" that connects us to believers throughout the ages. It's good to be together as the church and All Saints Sunday reminds us of our deep connections to one another. Get a preview worship below.
This Sunday we celebrate Reformation Sunday! We'll remind ourselves of our heritage to always be renewing our faith. As is Bethel's tradition, we will once again celebrate with our young people as one of them publicly affirms his baptismal vows during worship as part of his Confirmation Day celebration. Won't you join us?
This Sunday is our semi-annual congregation meeting. Our fall meeting is budget centered -- our goal is to approve our operating budget for 2024. Remembering that budgets reflect values, be sure to attend the meeting and and have your voice heard. Worship is at 9:00am and the meeting will following immediately after folks have a chance to grab some coffee and a snack.
Join us for a special outdoor worship gathering including pets, this Sunday at 9:00am. Bring Fido and Fluffy and join us as we celebrate God's Creation and the special joy of our animal friends. Join us for worship at 9:00am this coming Sunday, September 24th and then stay for Sunday School -- groups available for all ages -- children and adults. Details are below in the announcements pages of the bulletin. Last week several Bethel folk were at the annual Sierra Pacific Synod Assembly. The voting members there elected a new synod bishop, the Rev. Jeff Johnson, and approved an operating budget for the coming year. There was also time for fellowship among the delegates from throughout the synod.
Join us Sunday as we celebrate God's Work Our Hands Sunday. After worship, we'll be meeting up with our friends at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection for a potluck at 11:00am followed by our servant project. Details are explained in the announcements linked below.
